We are looking for bilingual in Spanish and English medical office receptionist for 8-hour day shift. The position requires a friendly, outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Complete New Patient Registration process
· Schedule and confirm patient appointments
· Create and update Patient Accounts in EMR
· Greet patients and checking-in/checking-out patients
· Answer a multi-line phone system and handle patient calls
· Verify insurance eligibility and benefits with health plans
· Collect co-payments, coinsurances, balances at, or prior to, service
· And other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· PC literate, electronic medical records, Microsoft Office 365
· Ability to prioritize and focus efforts to improve customer service and quality of patient care

Education and Experience:
Required:
· High school degree
· Vaccinated for Covid-19
· Ability to reliably commute to The Colony, TX
· Bilingual in English and Spanish
Preferred:
· Medical Front desk with at least 1 year of experience

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

We are looking for bilingual (Spanish and English) medical assistant for 8-hours day shift. The Bilingual Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office in primary care. The role will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
· Interview patients and document basic medical history
· Organize and schedule appointments
· Update and file medical records and insurance reports
· Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
· Check with patients and type up patient’s charts
· Assist during medical examinations
· Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
· Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records
· Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
· Translate from Spanish to English and vice versa (preferred)
Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish and English)
Qualifications:
· Proven working experience as a medical assistant
· Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
· Social perceptiveness and service oriented
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and planning skills
· Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
Education and Experience:
Required:
· Previous work as a medical assistant
· Vaccinated for Covid-19
· Bilingual in Spanish and English
· Ability to reliably commute to The Colony, TX
Preferred:
· Previous experience, 2 years or more, as a medical assistant
· Preference is for a certified medical assistant which has completed a licensing exam.
